Diablo III: New Player Class – Monk
At the latest Blizzcon convention, the developers of the much anticipated Diablo III have released another juicy tidbit of information about the forth coming game: Anew player class, the Monk.
The Monk class will be a holy warrior, similar in some ways to a cross between a Priest and a Martial Arts master.
Here is what the Diablo III site says about the Monk:
…a skilled holy warrior of unparalleled dexterity. Armed with speed, holy fervor, and the drive to achieve physical and spiritual perfection, the monk becomes a deadly apparition in the heat of battle, moving faster than the eye can follow to strike down enemies with a barrage of lightning-fast blows. [Diablo III]
Hopefully, this class will be in some ways like the Paladin class of Diablo II, being able to use Holy magic, and deal significant physical damage at the same time.
