There are a lot of movies coming out soon, and early next year, but few stand out like the two below.

When you see the name Tim Burton, you pretty much know the movie is gonna be weird, beautifully dark and yes, have Johnny Depp in it. Alice in Wonderland promises to not disappoint fans of either Burton or Depp as it takes aim at the classic tale of a girl caught in a land of crazies and strange brews.

I have never heard or read of any stories relating to this movie, but the background is epic, dark and adventurous. A man redeems himself by renouncing violence, lest his soul go downstairs, and is forced to either continue that way of life, or sacrifice his soul by defeating evil. It looks like a mixture between The Lord of the Rings and Pans’ Labyrinth.
